Stitch in time and lovely Lavinia

Hi everyone! Just about got my breath back from taking the dogs to agility classes, they had so much fun it was lovely to see.

I have been playing with my Visible Image sentiment stamp as well as having a go at putting one of the lovely Lavinia fairies in a sizzix frame I got at Ali Pali. I've attached her with a brad so there is a lovely movement to the card. I hope you like them - they were fun to do!

I'm going to enter the heart sentiment card into the Rhedd and Rosie Challenge so fingers crossed!

Clara

Visible Image have released their very latest character today "Clara" as soon as it landed on the door mat I was upstairs ready for some crafty action!  I've used all Visible image stamps, the dotty one in pickled raspberry for the background, then a bit of Zebra (resist technique), then of course Clara herself, with a couple of their sentiments.

I have another one of her half done in green, which I'll post later. :)

Love

Monochrome card for a Challenge!

I followed a FB friends link to Rhedd and Rosie's Challenge blog, and decided to give it a go. The theme is Monochrome. Out came the trusty guilding flakes with an Inigo Blu stamp.

Sooo sparkly!

I had a real sparklefest with this card! I used Visible image stamps to create the background and the butterflies and a white & gold frantage with added gold glitter (because I could!) so now the house is full of gold sparkle, it's all over the dogs too!

I can't get the sparkle to show on camera - you'l have to take my word that EVERYTHING is covered in gold sparkle emboss or gold sparkle frantage :)

I thought I'd enter it into the Visible Image April Competition, so fingers crossed!

Frantage moments!

So glad that Eileen told me about frantage, I'd seen it on cards but didn't know what it was! So yesterday I played with a new background stamp and clear glossy embossing powder and a rose frantage round the edge. Then having created a background that I loved I didn't know what to put on the top, so I spoke to my son's girlfriend and slept on it, and then came up with this!

The other investment at Ali Pali was in some masks, and I used on in the background of this man card, together with some indigo blu stamps.

Hope all is well with everyone!  More Ali Pali experiments to follow :)

Ali pali

Oh I had the BEST time at Ali Pai! I met loads of people who I had only chatted to on Facebook and bought bags and bags of crafty goodies. So time for a few play dates with some new stamps, masks and all sorts. Here is a quick one I did with a background stamp from cover-card, I can see it being a winner with the dreaded "man" cards as well as subtle backgrounds for others.

Visible Image

Hi, no postings recently as we've been really worried about our old dog, she's not been at all well. She seems a lot brighter today, Chris was out, Nick was watching the rugby so I grabbed the opportunity.

I played with some of the Visible Image stamps I have. Their print quality is amazing. I am going to enter them in their challenge too.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge #2 Bright and Beatuiful

Yay time for the next Lavinia Stamps challenge. This was so hard for me as I love my muted colours so I had a good look through my hoard of Lavinia Stamps and came up with this card. Head on over to www.http://blog.laviniastamps.com to enter (haven't worked out how to embed a hyperlink from my iPad!)
